January 2016 into February: Striped Marlin , Spearfish , MahiMahi on the Blue Hawaii

We had a good run of charters at the end of January into February and managed to pull  a few fish out of  the Ocean. We often have guests who are renting a condo or vacation home where they can prepare a delicious fresh fish dinner so if that is the case we will take the Spearfish and occasionally a Striped Marlin and of course the Mahi-Mahi are a favorite eating fish which most people enjoy  (not to mention the Captain and Mate).  My first Mate/Co-Captain , Ryan , is an expert with the fillet knife and we are happy to send you home with enough fish for a nice meal or two if and when we get lucky. Any day of the year on the Kona Coast you can catch a trophy Pacific Blue Marlin , Striped Marlin , Mahi-Mahi ,Shortnosed Spearfish , Yellowfin Tuna/Ahi , or Wahoo/Ono. We can’t always guarantee you a fish of your choice (but I can guarantee lots of fish stories). We troll the 6000 ft deep blue water just a couple miles from our harbor with an assortment of lures that will catch them all , big and small. One thing is for sure , you can’t catch them on land. Aloha and stay tuned for more updates !
